The Municipal District of Lesser Slave River requires Census Enumerators for the period of approximately May 1 to July 31, 2024.
The positions will be based in one of the following general locations:

Flatbush (north of Township Road 680)

Smith (south of Athabasca River to Township Road 680)
-
Old Smith Highway and west to Slave Lake and north to Marten Beach
-
Southshore (west of Slave Lake)
Responsibilities
Duties may include (but are not limited to):
- Conduct door-to-door census interviews with every residence in their Enumeration area.
- Half-day paid training/orientation course.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Professionalism
- Attention to accuracy and detail
- Courteous, friendly
- Knowledge of the Enumeration Area
- Ability to read and understand maps (legal land descriptions)
- Experience with tablets and/or other mobile devices
- Mobile smartphone
- Class 5 Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
