58th Annual Widewater Sports Days


Thanks to a grant from the MD, camping and admission will be free of charge for the duration of the 58th annual Widewater Sports Days (June 8th to 11th). This grant is the first of many such gestures the MD has planned for the region’s yearlong celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday. Fun for the whole family, this event is not to be missed!

Free camping is available for the duration of Widewater Sports Days. Please note that there are no hookups, and campers are expected to bring their own firewood.

Sr. Baseball: $400

Co-ed Slo-Pitch - 7/3 Competitive: $400

Co-ed Slo-Pitch - 7/3 Non-Competitive: $200

Minor Ball: No Entry Fee

Registration will be free for minor baseball teams. Event organizers are looking for at least six teams to participate. A variety of gameplay is planned, including both competitive and non-competitive co-ed slow-pitch teams. For more information or to register your team, please contact Harry Bartlett at 780.805.0482. In addition to baseball, a growing itinerary of additional activities is planned, and includes bocce, horseshoes and bingo.
